My Passion

Two Generations
Crazy? I have heard it said that passion is one step short of insanity. So be it... I am a passionate person. There are elements of this life that I feel deeply about. For me, they are: faith, family, and the life I've been gifted to know. I feel led to share scenes that involve all three. My faith overides all these, however, what I chose to write about now is my family and the ranch life they've lived. How blessed am I! So many people would love to have my history. In spite of the difficulties at times, which I won't go into, the blessings seem uncomparible! As an imature person (am I past that yet?) I focused on immediate problems, but thankfully, I appear to be moving on. I realize I'm not to the finish line yet. The beginning was not without bumps, and I know the future is similar. But now is a time of retrospect and sentimentalism. Please bare with me...

Dean and Grandson Cole at the Valle Ranch
This is an"aHA" moment in time and cause to reflect.
Grandparent and Grandson are sharing something very special.
How many are able to witness this? This photo represents five generations on this ranch. It began with my grandfather (John Osborne), my mother (Billie Osborne Wingfield) and her sister (Cherrie Osborne Blair whose ranch these images are from), myself and my husband (Dean Cameron), our son (Brooks Cameron), and now our grandson, (Cole). This world is an unsure place, however, we should indeed celebrate what we are able. I am valuing what our family has experienced on the Valle Ranch, north of Williams, Arizona. Life changes, but memories are to be treasured. I deeply treasure these as well as mental images of other ranches we've known in Arizona.
This is why I paint what I do...
Thank you for sharing my memories and thoughts...
Shawn
